Complete Android/Google TV Setup & Activation Guide – May 2026

Step-by-Step Instructions
 

  1. Power On Plug in the TV or device and turn it on.

  2. Language & Initial Setup Select language, region, and accessibility options.

  3. Connect to Wi-Fi Choose your network and enter the password.

  4. Sign in to Google Account Log in with your Gmail (highly recommended). Use your phone for quick QR code pairing if available.

  5. System Update Go to Settings → System → About → System Update.

  6. Install Apps Open Google Play Store → Search for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, etc. → Install and sign in.
     

Tips for Xiaomi / Mi TV Pair remote by holding the Home button. Use Google Home app for easier setup.
